10 Names Join CRUSADE

Another day another press conference. Today was the unveiling of some of the talent which will wrestle on the inaugural showing of CRUSADE.

CEO Ash Robson, announced 11 wrestlers who will fight in a Royal Rumble to determine the first ever official Universal Champion.

Each wrestler is listed below in order of mention, along with their country of origin and a little info…

Sharktooth (Japan) – This Japanese Wrestler loves to punish his opponents with suplexes and is also fond of using weapons. Signed from Russian promotion ERW, he hasn’t won many titles in his current promotion, but he’s beaten the who’s who of the wrestling world.

the Scotty Benson (England) – Arrogant describes “the” Scotty Benson perfectly. He talks a good game, but he’s different from most as he also backs it up!

El Destructo (Mexico) – This feisty Mexican comes from a great luchador family and he loves to woo the crowd with aerial high risk moves, which luckily for him usually pay off! His distinctive Mask complete with dynamite design sets his apart from the rest of the new signings

Devin Hero (USA) – Devin Hero is a man on a mission. As he put it, he was “Sick of American promoters overlooking pure talent”. So now he’s heading to CRUSADE to make a name for himself and win some gold along the way.

RAZE (USA) – This man needs little introduction! The giant Raze comes steamrolling in to CRUSADE, having won over 10 titles in other promotions. His no BS attitude has also earned him a reputation as a man who will brawl before talk.

Billy Bone (USA) – Hardcore veteran and fan favourite Billy Bone may still be young, but he’s had many career shortening matches for his age! Notably his fierce rivalry with Cactus Greenglass which has lasted several years, and has sold out many venues all over the USA and Japan.

Josh Riggs (USA) – A relative newcomer to the wrestling industry, Josh brings talent in abundance and loves to get physical and he is also very good at mind games against opponents.

Julius Romerus (Italy) – the Italian Centurion! This stud hails from Rome and loves to come to the ring wearing old style Roman armour. He may well be one of the fittest athletes in CRUSADE and can fight well in excess of 60 minutes as he’s proven in recent iron man matches for Italian Pro Wrestling.

DedRed (Russia) – Another ERW name to the roster. DedRed comes from a military background and loves to get to grips with hand to hand combat and his use of weapons means he knows how to use them to hurt the opposition.

Vladimir Valkrye (Russia) – Vladimir, the big brother of ERW star Petr Valkrye. This is a bear of a man! He loves to fight! Anytime, anywhere. He only recently captured the world title and tag titles with his brother in Russia, but sources say he relinquished the titles  due to ongoing issues with his contract.

Cactus Greenglass (USA) – Last but not least we have Cactus. This man is hardcore to the bone. His dislike for Billy Bone meant as soon as he got word of Billy’s signature, he called CEO Ash Robson directly and demanded a contract. It would have been silly to turn down Cactus as he and Billy have put on some of the best fights in recent times!

4 New Championship Belts revealed!

It’s true! We now have 5 official titles. We already know about the Universal title, which now has photos on the title history page and current championship pages.
But we received an email from CEO Ash Robson to clarify all the belts.

Ash also mentioned how the Universal title needed it’s own press conference as it’s the top belt and also it will be the first ever championship on the line. These new belts which also have been snapped for the site and are on the relevant pages, will be released after we begin our bi-weekly show.

The first new title mentioned is the CRUSADE belt, which is a blue strap leather title, with gold plating and marble design, equipped with green Gem skulls. This belt is VERY HEAVY due to it’s marble design. The bearer of this title will be the champion of the promotion with the weight of the federation on his waist! Or it certainly will seem so! This title is one step behind the universal champion. But having owned this title you would need to set sights at the Universal title to be regarded as the best in the world.

The third title announced is the Youngblood championship belt. This is for the new wrestlers who come in to the company, or the guys who just cannot step up to the top guys yet. It’s a dark blue leather strap much like the CRUSADE belt, but the design is much different. It’s a Silver plated title, no gold on this belt. The centre piece is a lion design with precious stones in the wings. The smaller plates are designed to look like metal ring steps but are actually silver. Finished off on either side of the strap with more silver, this time in the shape of wolves heads.

The final singles title is the Reckless Championship belt. This is by far the most unusual belt. Bright yellow strap, with gold plating and a distinct jagged red metal designs. The red is shaped like a hazard sign, and is very sharp!! This has been announced for a new hardcore division!

Lastly but by no means least we have the CRUSADE Tag Team championships. These are beautiful, classic black strap, with gold plate design and silver design. Also these have two stars on, one for each tag champion.

CEO Announces Title

Today a press conference was called at 15:00 GMT and CEO Ash Robson let the media know that CRUSADE has it’s first title. It’s the Universal Championship belt, which Ash described as the biggest title in the world. “This belt is the alpha male title. If you have this strap, you are THE man”.

He also stated he has traveled the world and secured the names of many top talent across the globe. “I know at least 8 promoters who are going to be very upset with me when it’s all out in the open”. He later added, “We are going in to this the right way, we have heavy funding, a great crew behind the scenes and the wrestlers are going to blow you away”.

We got to see the belt and can tell you it’s fantastic quality, photos will be added to the titles page as soon as we can get them!
